️WHAT IS BLEPHARITIS?
Blepharitis is where the edges of your eyelids become red and swollen. Most of the time, blepharitis happens because you have too much bacteria on your eyelids at the base of your eyelashes. Having bacteria on your skin is normal, but too much bacteria can cause problems. You can also get blepharitis if the oil glands in your eyelids get clogged or irritated.
This can commonly be found with clients who have poor lash care. To prevent this we recommend using a lash cleanser every day to cleanse lashes from bacteria and makeup. Cleaning lashes can also improve retention, there are so many benefits to clean and happy lashes. Don’t forget to educate your clients!
